For an internationally active organization, we are looking for a Market Lead who will help drive the commercial and operational performance of a digital consumer platform in Belgium.
Our client operates in a highly regulated digital environment, with high volumes, clear KPIs, and a strong focus on performance, customer value, and retention.

Your Role

As Market Lead, you are responsible for the daily performance of the platform within the Belgian market.
You combine commercial leadership, operational follow-up, and stakeholder management, and report directly to management.

You act as a link between business, marketing, and operations and take on partial P&L responsibility for your market.

Your Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of business performance and KPIs
  • Analyzing trends, seasonality, and user behavior
  • Developing and managing a monthly CRM and activation plan
  • Coordinating campaigns focused on retention and customer value
  • Aligning with acquisition and marketing teams regarding budgets and ROI
  • Collaborating with internal teams (marketing, compliance, customer service)
  • Leading operational meetings with local stakeholders
  • Managing external partners and negotiating commercial partnerships
  • Contributing to communication strategy and tone of voice within brand guidelines
  • Actively contributing to process and customer experience optimization

Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or similar
  • Proven experience in a commercial, operational, or market lead role
  • Experience within digital platforms, e-commerce, or regulated environments
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, familiar with KPIs and reporting
  • Hands-on and comfortable with daily operational follow-up
  • Experience with CRM, activation, and retention strategies
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Belgian market
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
